Anti-Ragging Measures
- This Institute follows the rules, regulations, and guidelines issued under “UGC Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions, 2009” by the University Grants Commission notified on 4th July, 2009 in the Gazette of India and Extract of Tamil Nadu Government Gazette – Extra ordinary dt.29.01.97 (Bill No.8 of 1997 Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Ragging ACT).
- Accordingly, various initiatives and preventive measures were taken by the institute time to time for preserving a Culture of Ragging Free Environment in the institute.
- A banner indicating the ragging information, important contact numbers of the institution and helpline numbers are displayed in all the Academic blocks, Hostels and Students congregation places.
- The Anti-Ragging Committee has been constituted to prevent ragging in the Institute.
